Requirements
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner program specific to the expanded specialty of family medicine
- Current DEA License with “X” License of 275 limit or Qualify for X Waiver Increase
- 3 years’ experience as a NP in medication assisted treatment and family medicine
- CPR certified within 3 months of hire
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment with stable internet connection
- Reliable transportation for mobile care
- Licensed with the state of Arizona
- Pass a credit check, background check, and drug screening
Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care services with a client-centered, harm-reduction focus
- Administer medications such as Psychiatric, Vivitrol, Suboxone, or Subutex
- Refer patients to specialists, hospitals, community agencies, or in-house staff as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely records, write reports, support letters, and chart summaries
- Provide emergency care and treatment for various conditions
- Work flexible schedules at multiple locations
- Ensure appropriate laboratory studies and medical evaluations are performed
- Complete physical examinations, procedures, and record test results
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for quality improvement
- Advocate for individual client needs and access to care
- Provide health information to the community and clients
- Participate in meetings, actions, and program development
- Engage with groups representing people who use drugs for program improvement
- Support policies and strategies for public health and healthy public policy
- Participate in rotational on-call coverage and support clients
- Assist patients in referral services for medical needs
- Conduct in-service and patient education for continuous quality improvement
- Coordinate care with clinical and medical staff
- Ensure orders comply with State Regulations and HIPAA Standards
