  • BA/BS or equivalent degree and 6+ years of Merchandising or Retail Management experience
  • Business, Marketing, or related degree
  • Strong aesthetic, visual design, and presentation skills
  • Analytical and informed decision maker with ability to generate measurable business impact
  • Cross-functional agility, and ability to independently lead and meet objectives in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Process-oriented, with ability to flex from high-level strategy to fine attention to detail

Responsibilities
  • Create and execute the comprehensive product merchandising strategy within the Samsung Experience Stores
  • Support the overall look and feel of Samsung, driving the customer experience throughout the store and implementing category-relevant reset activities
  • Partner closely with Retail Operations to ensure Retail’s priorities align with the global Visual Merchandising strategy
  • Collaborate with Corporate Merchandising, Marketing, Design, Operations, Technology, Service, Finance, HR, Field, Account and Strategy teams at both Global and North American levels
  • Drive the annual business planning processes, influencing technology and strategy roadmaps and investment planning in support of current and long-term business plans
  • Work directly with corporate teams both locally and globally to help set the strategy and measure the execution of Samsung’s success
  • Drive Visual Merchandising strategy across Samsung product and third-party categories, balancing brand identity and maximizing sales
  • Create and implement planograms that support sales, profitability and accuracy in product range to space allocation
  • Partner with locally based and field teams to incorporate global considerations and customer feedback into merchandising strategy
  • Action accurate inventory and assortment mapping on the store level in partnership with Retail Fulfillment and Operations teams
  • Communicate at all levels - strategy on a regular basis to leadership, and provide communication tools to field organization for successful execution in stores
  • Create efficiencies with existing processes, improving implementation in stores, and innovating Merchandising
  • Develop and brief immersive demo strategies in partnership with Retail Operations, Retail Technology, Marketing, and Product Merchandising
  • Manage packaging guidelines, merchandising resets in stores, and conduct regular store visits.
