Requirements
  • High school graduation or GED.
  • At least 5 years of experience building construction, mechanical, or utilities trade specified with at least 3 of those years being journey level experience.
  • Experience with tools and equipment common to the trades specified. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.
Responsibilities
  • Provide installation support for office, facility, cleanroom and lab equipment, with concentration on electrical, plumbing, exhaust, and house gases connections.
  • Maintenance, operation and repair of facility systems supporting MER cleanroom and lab.
  • Diagnostics and repair of components related to the following systems: electrical, process exhaust, HVAC equipment and controls, deionized water, acid neutralization, process cooling water, house vacuum, process vacuum, and clean dry air compressors.
Desired Qualifications
  • SCBA certified or able to become certified within 90 days of hire.
  • Ability to participate in MER emergency response team.
  • Experience working in or supporting cleanrooms.
  • More than five (5) years of journey level HVAC experience.
  • Licensed by the State of Texas as a journey level electrician.
  • Electrical experience installing conduit, wiring, controls, repair of multiple electrical systems in commercial and residential.
