  • 3+ years of product management in health insurance and/or employer health benefits
  • Domain experience in one of the following areas is required: healthcare delivery, health plan design, health plan revenue cycle management, health payor tech stack and/or experience in the commercial health insurance marketplace.
  • Proven track record of developing a healthcare/health tech product(s) that requires adhering to industry mandates, e.g. HIPAA
  • Proficiency using product management tools (e.g., Jira, ProductBoard, Monday, etc.)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and product development best practices, e.g., creating work plans, user stories, acceptance criteria and product requirement documents for engineering stakeholders
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with internal stakeholders
Responsibilities
  • Develop, launch, and optimize a new product
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the product aligns with market demands, as well as healthcare regulation and compliance requirements
  • Define and translate compliance and regulatory requirements into product requirements for engineering to effectively execute development
  • Prioritize product requirements and features on the backlog based on impact to ensure deadlines are met
  • Quickly adapt to changing priorities as new requirements arise
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch
  • Continuously measure and analyze product performance, gathering feedback from internal and external stakeholders to drive iterative improvements
  • Align stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, business operations and sales teams, to ensure successful product development and launch
  • Collaborate with business operations, member services, provider network, claims, payment, legal and finance to ensure product usability, viability and profitability
  • Responsible for ensuring product launch and subsequent releases adhere to compliance and regulatory product requirements
  • Serve as the product evangelist, effectively communicating the product to stakeholders at all levels
