Position Summary

SciPlay is a leading developer and publisher of digital games on mobile and web platforms, providing highly entertaining free-to-play games that millions of people play every day. As a Tableau Developer at SciPlay, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of meaningful, big-picture projects, by developing and maintaining various tools and solutions for data visualization, leading to better decision making and driving company growth.

Create compelling, clear, and powerful visualizations of our data that help us extract key insights. Develop solutions with the product team that will help move the business forward and enable better decision making in real time.

Analyzes complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources to provide insight to decision-makers. Identifies and interprets trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences. Constructs forecasts, recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge. Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues. May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools.

Responsibilities:

• Building, designing, and maintaining flexible and user-friendly dashboards for daily use by our Senior managements, product teams and other business units
• Taking ownership of all front-end data solution development.
• Creating strong and focused data visualization solutions, summarizing big data to key insights needed on a regular basis.
• Determining the right analytical approach to solve key business problems.
• Understanding the business impact, structure, and logic of the data, being able to translate the data into actionable insights, identifying opportunities for optimization and growth through various tools and reports.
• Translating business requirements to technical specifications
• Working closely with BI and DE teams to implement data requirements
• Creating various reports, dashboards, forecasts, etc. taking part in solution design for both ongoing and ad hoc business requirements, using creative solutions to combine data from different sources.
• Thinking outside the box, identifying problems and opportunities for improvement in existing processes and tools, and providing solutions.
• Creating and maintaining reference documentation or reports for finalized projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Tableau development
• Advanced SQL – Data extraction and manipulation skills, stored procedures, performance tuning
• Experience from an online-tech company - Must
• Strong data visualization, UI/UX and storytelling skills
• Python experience - Advantage
