*This role is a full-time position that will be tied to one of our office locations: Pasadena, California or San Diego, California. This role will work remotely from home but have the opportunity to come into our offices for training and team tag-ups. More information will be provided in the interview process. *
Please NOTE: This is NOT an internal IT Helpdesk role.
About the Role:
- You’ll be providing top-tier technical support by phone and email.
- Answering questions and troubleshoot technical issues related to our Bluebeam applications, including our plugins for converting different file formats into .pdf.
- Take ownership of technical issues from initial report to final resolution.
- Advise customers on technical issues and best practices, helping them achieve the desired end result with Bluebeam products.
- Verify and report bugs into our bug tracking system.
- Communicate feedback to and from the members of our engineering team in a clear and concise method, as well as build relationships with the technical support community within other Bluebeam offices.
- Help create internal support resources and external support documentation (FAQ) for our global support page.
What we’d like to see in you:
- 2+ years of Technical Support experience.
- Customer service skills! Help our customers solve problems with a positive attitude and helpful spirit.
- Technical support experience for external customers preferably with a software/hardware technology company.
- Solid technical/computer proficiency, knowledge, and understanding of Microsoft Windows OS (10, 11) i.e. installing and uninstalling programs and drivers.
- A positive and proactive nature (You follow through on helping customers get the answers they need!)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Bonus Points For:
- Experience with SaaS/Subscription.
- A+ or Microsoft IT Certification (i.e. MTA) - While we aren’t big on certifications, you should be familiar with this terrain.
- Experience with PDF software.
- Experience with architectural or structural programs such as AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, Tekla or SolidWorks.
- Experience working within the AEC (Architectural, Engineering, and Construction) industry.
- Experience in iOS and OS X environments.

Base pay offered will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations. Base pay is one part of Bluebeam’s Total Rewards program, which seeks to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable commission plan, while most non-sales position are eligible for a bonus under the terms of an applicable bonus plan. The base pay range for this position is: $55,300 - $66,200
