- At least 1 year of experience in a support role such as dishwashing or portering.
- Experience safely operating a dish machine and cleaning tools.
- Ability to work five days per week for 40 or more hours per week.
- Ability to stand for at least 8 hours per shift.
- Ability to lift, move, or pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to climb stairs multiple times per shift.
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision.
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, including workstations, cooking equipment, walls, floors, and coolers.
- Properly and safely maintain required chemicals and cleaning supplies.
- Report malfunctioning equipment and equipment issues to management.
- Safely and effectively use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Empty garbage and maintain the cleanliness of garbage areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Open availability is preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, chef-driven environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to think quickly and efficiently in high-pressure situations.
