  • Profound understanding of the Life Sciences industry and familiarity with digital transformation for Commercial within the sector
  • Proven track record of cultivating multi-layered relationships across multiple functions including business, IT, and procurement
  • Ability to develop and articulate a strong account vision and federate external/internal teams behind this to execute
  • Team player, who has experience with managing complex matrix account governance and implementing account management frameworks with proven results
  • Ability to articulate complex value propositions and benefits realized
  • Organizational skills with the right amount of attention to detail
  • Passion and enthusiasm for solving customers' problems
  • Strong work ethic with the required sense of urgency towards customers' needs
  • Self-starter / Self-motivator with little need for direct supervision
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Global Partnership between Veeva and the account for Commercial with the goal of remaining a trusted partner for the long term
  • Hold accountability for developing and implementing account vision, strategy, and ways of working
  • Serve as the ambassador for your customer within Veeva by focusing on their needs and doing the right thing for them
  • Actively nurture relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders across Commercial, Medical, IT, and procurement, and develop new ones as needed
  • Protect existing business through robust daily account management, a strong focus on operational excellence, and a passion for understanding and supporting your customer's business and IT goals
  • Oversee and coach the multi-functional global account team with robust internal governance to drive innovation and enable execution excellence
  • Navigate complex sales cycles, articulate contextual value propositions, and negotiate key contracts and annual renewals of licenses
  • Manage account administration and actively provide input for accurate forecasting
  • Keep current with industry trends and expand knowledge of legacy and novel Veeva offerings
