What We Do
Responsible for investigating and resolving Normal Curative Claims. Reports to the Claims Center Manager.
Essential Functions
- Investigate, analyze & resolve title and escrow curative claims
- Obtain, review, and analyze relevant documentation
- Review claim cause and process code for correctness after assessment; establish /update process codes as required
- Communicate with claimant, local office, or agency as needed for resolution
- Provide status updates and correspond with claimants upon receipt of claim and through the resolution
- Work collaboratively with supervisor and peers to bring claims to an appropriate resolution

- Performs work that is varied and that may be somewhat difficult in character, but usually involves limited responsibility. Some evaluation, originality or ingenuity is required
Supervision Received or Extended
- Works under close supervision applying well established techniques, procedures or specific standards. Work reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall accuracy.
- No responsibility for supervision of others

- Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of title and escrow operations and claims

- Fast learner that is able to pivot to different tasks on short notice
- Self-starter willing to make independent claim determinations with appropriate management support and supervision
- Microsoft office products with an emphasis on MS Word, Outlook and Excel
Typical Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Typical Range of Experience
- Typically has 1-3 years title insurance or related experience-
- Title Examination experience preferred
License or Certification
- Paralegal certification desirable
Hybrid from Englewood, Co or Santa Ana, Ca.
The pay range for this role is $22.80-$30.38
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
