Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Typically has 1-3 years title insurance or related experience
  • Title Examination experience preferred
  • Paralegal certification desirable
  • Knows fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of title and escrow operations and claims
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize and work under pressure
  • Excellent problem solving, decision making and analytical skills
  • Fast learner that is able to pivot to different tasks on short notice
  • Self-starter willing to make independent claim determinations with appropriate management support and supervision

Responsibilities
  • Investigate, analyze & resolve title and escrow curative claims
  • Obtain, review, and analyze relevant documentation
  • Review claim cause and process code for correctness after assessment; establish /update process codes as required
  • Communicate with claimant, local office, or agency as needed for resolution
  • Provide status updates and correspond with claimants upon receipt of claim and through the resolution
  • Work collaboratively with supervisor and peers to bring claims to an appropriate resolution
