Requirements
  • A university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • One to three years of experience in treasury within an international environment.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare fund transfers and electronic payments for derivative and foreign exchange settlements through various banking platforms and the treasury management system.
  • Monitor transfers and ensure their accurate execution, including maintaining supporting documentation and records.
  • Maintain up-to-date bank account listings, related information, and settlement instructions.
  • Review and confirm derivative and foreign exchange transactions in Bloomberg.
  • Process bank fees related to letters of credit, interest and principal payments on external debt, and settlements related to the receivables sales program.
  • Co-administer banking platforms and the treasury management system, and participate in developing and optimizing related processes and policies.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, and applicable requirements related to banking operations and financing programs.
  • Prepare periodic treasury analyses and reports covering payments, affiliate liquidity positions, global liquidity, and external debt.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses as required by management and business partners.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation, process simplification, and integration of financial tools.
  • Participate in administering and monitoring the receivables sales program.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of REVAL or another treasury management system.
  • Knowledge of Python programming.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English.

CAE reports Q1 revenue of $1.17B, up 6.8% year-over-year, maintains fiscal 2027 outlook

CAE reported first quarter fiscal 2027 results with revenue of $1,173.4 million, up 6.8% year-over-year from $1,098.6 million. Earnings per share declined to $0.10 from $0.18 in the prior year, whilst adjusted EPS remained flat at $0.26. The Montreal-based company generated free cash flow of $104.0 million and maintained a net debt-to-adjusted EBITDA ratio of 2.27x. Civil Aviation revenue rose 5.6% to $641.6 million, though profitability decreased. Defence and Security revenue increased 8.3% to $531.8 million with continued margin expansion. CAE's transformation plan progressed during the quarter, including a review of strategic alternatives for Flightscape and plans to close four to six Civil training centres. The company targets $125 million to $150 million in annual transformation run-rate savings by fiscal 2030. Management maintained its unchanged fiscal 2027 outlook.
