Security Officer: Part-time Shift Available

Schedule: Every other Friday & Saturday 10pm-6am

We are seeking part-time Security Officers to patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and residents. 

Primary Responsibilities:       

• Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and entrances to ensure proper function and security.
• Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
• Report on any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes.
• Responds to all fire alarms and apartment emergency calls.
• Perform light maintenance as time allows such as changing light bulbs, and similar assignments.
• Shovels and keeps clear exit door walkways during and after snowstorms.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields.
• Familiarity with security equipment.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail. 

All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
