Business Intelligence Manager

Who We’re Looking For

Our client is in search of a Business Intelligence Manager to join our their team right away. The ideal candidate will excel in developing and executing a comprehensive business intelligence strategy, ensuring best practices for data analysis and reporting are implemented effectively. 

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the BI strategy, implementing best practices for data analysis and reporting.
• Oversee data collection, integration, and storage, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
• Create reporting tools that deliver actionable insights by identifying key trends and patterns.
• Manage data warehouses for efficient organization and retrieval, collaborating with IT for optimized solutions.
• Guide and support the team, promoting performance and continuous improvement.
• Engage with stakeholders to address their data needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Implement data quality controls and governance policies to ensure data integrity and reliable reporting.
• Develop and track KPIs to provide insights and improve business outcomes.
• Stay current with industry trends, identifying and applying innovative BI solutions.
• Ensure data security and compliance with regulations, managing sensitive data and access controls.
• Work with affiliated teams to align goals, streamline workflows, and enhance BI initiatives.

Skills and Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• A master’s degree is a plus.
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field, preferably within the finance or private market sector.
• Strong proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python) and data modeling techniques.
• Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience managing a team of data professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
