Electrician

Overview

We are seeking an Electrician for assignment in Cantil, California. The selected candidate will install and maintain the electrical wiring, fixtures and systems in our commercial building.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm

** This position has a pay rate of $40 - $42/hr **

** This position requires completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid Electricians License **

Responsibilities

- Install and repairs electrical wiring, systems and fixtures

- Install conduit and pipes to house electrical wires and cables

- Ensure piping complies with electrical codes

- Install circuit breakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring

- Connect electrical systems to powerlines to provide electricity to the building

- Test electrical systems to ensure proper installation and operation

- Inspect electrical systems to determine whether repairs are needed

- Replace conduit and wiring as needed

- Replace circuit breakers as needed

- Respond to and complete tenant or supervisor maintenance requests

- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and building systems

- Complete safety checks on systems and equipment

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or GED

- A valid Drivers License

- Completion of a formal apprenticeship and a valid Electricians License

- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring

- Ability to read blueprints

- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
