The Role
The Senior Consultant (Technical Services) will be a member of the Veeva Systems Professional Services group, working on consulting project teams to implement the Vault Systems suite of CRM applications - built on Veeva’s Vault application platform for customers in the pharma and biotechnology industry. You will participate in business process due diligence, solution design, application customization, and documentation of end-user requirements to help deliver successful implementations. This candidate will also contribute to technical development to support customer requirements by leveraging the Veeva Vault platform developer tools such as Java and Javascript.
Opportunities are available in the UK, Hungary, or Spain for this role. There is no work location requirement as long as you are in proximity to an airport and able to meet travel requirements, although you are free to use our Oxford office.
What You’ll Do
- Provide subject matter expertise on the Veeva Systems applications, Vault Platform, and technical design
- Development using Vault Java SDK and frontend technologies
- Take complex client and vendor concepts and articulate them to audiences of varying perception levels
- Design and Develop solutions based on customer requirements
- This position is 50% Technical (drawing on technical and/or CRM product knowledge in advanced configurations of the Veeva Vault platform and development platforms), 30% Analysis, and 20% Project Management
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in a relevant technical role
- Experience with the following development disciplines: HTML, XML, SQL, Java, Javascript
- Experience with implementing integrations using web technologies
- Full lifecycle software implementation experience, particularly with CRM applications
- Experience with Data Transformation and Data Loading Tools
- Experience with database design and workflow
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Degree in computer science, software engineering, MIS, or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Work permit for the EU
