Requirements
  • A valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record meeting company and Department of Transportation/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration requirements are required.
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
  • A Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required, or the candidate must be able to obtain one within 30 days after hire.
  • Prior fuel, petroleum, or hazardous material transportation experience is preferred.
  • The candidate must successfully complete Department of Transportation-required pre-employment drug testing.
  • The candidate is subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with Department of Transportation/Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
  • The candidate must meet and maintain Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration qualification standards, including a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
  • The candidate must be available to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
  • The candidate must demonstrate commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload DEF trucks while adhering to all company and governmental regulations.
  • Safely operate trucks according to company policies and state and federal laws.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and replace gaskets, nozzles, and other related articles as necessary.
  • Perform safety inspections on trucks, equipment, and facilities as required by company policy.
  • Perform daily service duties, including checking oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank-related items.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and concerns to the Fleet Manager.
  • Complete and transmit paperwork in compliance with established company procedures.
  • Use loading arms and card readers at rack facilities, auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading vehicles, spill kits, and fire extinguishers.
