Requirements
  • From 2 to 5 years of experience in roles related to Card Schemes’ processing, interchange fees, and cost optimization.
  • Familiarity with payment platforms and banking systems for transaction processing.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (Portuguese is a strong advantage).
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and dashboards such as SQL, Power BI, QlikView and advanced Excel.
  • Knowledge of Card Schemes / Card Network’ platforms and relational databases for information exploitation.
Responsibilities
  • To improve efficiency over the card`s schemes products and services that we use, for the whole group.
  • To review the tool portfolio (product and services) from the brands, identifying opportunities, such as.
  • The contribution of the tool to the operation and to propose minimum efficiency or its replacement.
  • Overlay, mandates (mandatory/ no), renegotiation.
  • To share good practices between the group.
  • Product owner and focal point between business, operations and consultants to define joint initiatives.
  • To support the countries/ partners on statistical studies and business cases for each initiative.
  • Project plan & governance. KPIs to track savings.
  • To support the countries in the implementation and negotiation of the initiatives with the brands.
Desired Qualifications
  • Management consulting experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and their applications in data mining.

Mobile Phones At Center Of Telco And Digital Bank Partnerships

The mobile phone’s increasing penetration into global markets is helping blur the lines between telecom and financial services, where digital banks, and especially neobanks, are moving into communications and mobile payments, and telcos, in turn, are branching more fully into finance. At the end of 2022, PYMNTS Intelligence profiled a trend wherein partnerships with FinTechs or financial institutions (FIs) and telecommunications companies were transforming and boosting financial inclusion in both emerging and industrial economies. Santander Pitches Savings Plan To Verizon Customers

Verizon has launched a long-term partnership with Santander’s U.S. digital banking platform.
