Responsibilities
  • Resolve standard and complex Investments and Advice disputes.
  • Make decisions individually or as part of a panel in line with Australian Financial Complaints Authority rules and fairness principles.
  • Provide professional and technical leadership across the Australian Financial Complaints Authority.
  • Shape the Australian Financial Complaints Authority's approaches.
  • Present at external conferences as a subject matter expert.
  • Support relationships with consumer groups, government bodies, regulators, Australian Financial Complaints Authority members, member organisations, other ombudsman networks, and the media.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge in multiple Investments and Advice areas, including financial planning, stockbroking, managed funds, timeshares, traditional trustees, cryptocurrency wallet providers, and horse-racing syndicates.
