Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in selling software to Net New Enterprise accounts, and Fortune/Global Logos
  • Track record of over-achievement in hunter roles
  • Experience with infrastructure software, open source, APIM, and the cloud native landscape
  • Strong interpersonal skills including written and oral communication
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation and closing skills
  • Motivated, optimistic, driven, competitive mindset
Responsibilities
  • Taking full ownership of your business, strategy, opportunities, pipeline, and revenue primarily for net new Enterprise accounts
  • Understanding customer's business requirements and aligning Kong solutions that will add value and help them achieve their business objectives
  • Providing account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process and contributing to analysis on wins/losses
  • Effectively managing and leveraging Cross-functional relationships with SE, SDR, Operations, Marketing, Product, Legal, etc
  • Fostering and Encouraging partnership with the Channel, Cloud Providers, Systems Integrators, ISVs, etc
  • Building large ecosystem-based sales campaigns
  • Embracing the sales process, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Operating with a high standard of excellence
  • Meeting Customers and Partners on-site and remotely, as well as attending events, trade shows, etc
