Requirements
  • Around 5 years of experience in Financial Services with a focus on delivering both large-scale programs and product enhancements.
  • Good understanding of Data Models, Experience data analysis and experience in Database systems like SQL, Excel, other analytical tools.
  • Understanding of finance, including the role of the subledger the general ledger and the financial control closing processes.
  • Strong Business Analysis skills - elicitation, synthesis, evaluation and communication of results.
  • Strong experience and proficiency in creation of Requirement artifacts such as Use Case, Use Case Diagrams, Business Rules, Data Catalog, and Data Lineage Mapping.
  • Experience using business analysis and requirements modeling tools, such as data flow diagrams, relationship data models and business process modelling.
  • Strong understanding of the Capital Markets lines of business plus at least one other business line such as retail, commercial, insurance.
  • Strong communication skills – the ability to write clearly; know your audience; one on one verbal communications; the ability to give presentations and run a meeting is critical.
  • Ability to understand the business requirements and translate it to technical requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills and leadership abilities to lead integrated teams in project activities.
  • Team player known for providing creative thought leadership while also listening to and engaging others.
  • Ability to work independently, apply critical and strategic thinking to issues, and manage deadlines while multi-tasking amongst different priorities.
  • Superior relationship building, communication & presentation skills, organizational knowledge and leadership skills with a proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and complex environment.
  • Relational databases: an intermediate knowledge of relational database concepts and how to interact with databases using SQL is required.
Responsibilities
  • Investigate, resolve, and report on medium- to complex technical issues requiring business application understanding.
  • Elicit, analyze and document business requirements, business rules and data sources.
  • Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with Finance and business line clients to analyze functional requirements and deliver the appropriate documentation and explanations as needed.
  • Act as the first line of contact to interface with Finance business users on your specific products and projects.
  • Work with upstream Data Provider Teams to trouble shoot, provide requirements and coordinate end to end solution implementation.
  • Work with downstream Data Consumer Teams to provide interpretation for GPE data and coordinate end to end solution implementation.
  • Work with project managers, developers, quality engineers and other business analysts, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Make recommendations on process improvements and enhance system and support documentation
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Broadridge Systems including ICI and ADP, RBC Finance IT application ecosystem.
  • Understanding of IT methodologies, change management & audit requirements, segregation of duties requirements.
  • Business Analysis certification and/or completion of BA training courses.
  • Experience on Financial Products – Cash Equities, Bond, Futures, Forwards, Interest Rate Derivatives, Foreign Exchanges Currency and OTC Derivatives (Swaps, Structured Debt products etc).
  • Understanding of Trade Life Cycle and working experience with Front, Middle and Back office teams of Asset Management, Wealth Management, Portfolio Management, Brokerage Institutions, Prime Brokerage Services of various asset class such as Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Money Market Instrument and OTC Derivatives.

ARRAY Technologies expands revolving credit facility to $370M and extends maturity to 2031

ARRAY Technologies, a global provider of solar tracking technology, has increased its revolving credit facility from $166 million to $370 million and extended the maturity date from October 2028 to February 2031. The amended facility includes up to $250 million available for letters of credit. Goldman Sachs Bank USA served as lead arranger and administrative agent, with participation from JP Morgan, Wells Fargo Securities, PNC Capital Markets and HSBC Bank USA. The company welcomed three new lenders to its syndicate. The enhanced facility will support operational execution, working capital needs and global growth initiatives. Chief financial officer Keith Jennings said the expansion demonstrates lender confidence in the company's strategy and position as a global leader in utility-scale solar.

Royal Bank of Canada completes $1B offering of limited recourse capital notes

Royal Bank of Canada has completed a US$1 billion registered offering of 6.500% Limited Recourse Capital Notes, Series 8. The notes were issued on 30 January 2026 and will mature on 24 May 2086. Concurrently, RBC issued 1 million Non Cumulative 5 year Fixed Rate Reset First Preferred Shares, Series CA, held by Computershare Trust Company of Canada. RBC Capital Markets, Citigroup Global Markets, J.P. Morgan Securities, Morgan Stanley and UBS Securities acted as lead managers and joint bookrunners for the offering. Norton Rose Fulbright served as Canadian co-counsel to RBC on the transaction.

RBC partners with HTS to launch enhanced Avion Rewards Travel booking platform for Canadians

RBC has partnered with HTS (Hopper Technology Solutions) to launch an enhanced Avion Rewards Travel platform later this year for all Avion Rewards members. The collaboration brings together Canada's largest proprietary loyalty programme with a leading travel technology platform. The new booking portal will enable members to use Avion points across flights, accommodations, car rentals, activities and packages. It will feature flexible booking options and price insights that recommend optimal flight booking times based on historical and predictive data. Avion credit cardholders will retain exclusive fixed-points pricing on any airline and flight without blackout dates or seating restrictions. The platform will be integrated seamlessly into the existing Avion Rewards ecosystem, with RBC emphasising a frictionless transition for members.
