Requirements
- 7+ years of relevant research management
- A degree in the field of research, marketing or social sciences. Advanced degree a plus
- Experience working at both a market research supplier and client side in an internal insights role
- Experience with both qualitative & quantitative research in markets beyond the US
- Experience with GoogleSuite (e.g, Google sheets, Google Slides), a plus
- High degree of proficiency in analytical tools and platforms
- Strong presentation-building, storytelling, and data visualization skills
- Well versed in quantitative & qualitative research methods and programs including foundational work like segmentations, ad testing, concept testing, brand trackers, IDIs, focus groups, digital-qual projects, immersions, ethnographies, etc
- Familiarity and understanding of analytic methods such as, but not limited to TURF, max-diff, choice-based methods, opportunity sizing, segmentation, predictive modeling, etc
Responsibilities
- Lead consumer research and insights projects end-to-end; identifying ideal methodologies and providing oversight into the data collection process and analytic work plan to ensure quality deliverables, all with an eye to the details and the bigger picture
- Define and manage project tasks and activities; including timelines, budget and potential risks or issues that arise, while providing relevant and timely communication to all partners, vendors and stakeholders alike
- Develop and maintain collaborative, productive relationships with internal team members and stakeholders, as well as with current and prospective research suppliers
- Day-to-day responsibilities will include: cross-functional partnership, project management, custom primary research, leveraging secondary research, the integration of syndicated data or other existing sources, and research socialization
- Evaluate the team's current insights offerings and analytical capabilities and make recommendations to fill knowledge gaps
- Introduce innovative and outside-the-box research concepts and techniques
- Proactively identify and prioritize key business questions and evaluate appropriate solutions and research plans
- Synthesize data from disparate sources and break down complex data sets across multiple studies to develop cohesive stories anchored in actionable findings
- Act as an audience expert, an indispensable partner, and a strategic consultant to position the Consumer Insights & Trends team as a key business partner across the organization
- Create engaging presentations that both inform and inspire
- Design and present deliverables that bring data to life with compelling human insight and context, while conveying compassion and understanding for all audiences
