About the position

Finance process transformation manager cultivates partnerships between Finance and the business and spearheads key initiatives at the company level. This Manager will help socialize a clear vision for the future state operating model, advocating a case for change, and driving alignment and organization through active project management.

What you’ll do

• Partner with all senior Finance Leaders to align with the business strategy
• Partner with Finance teams to modernize processes through digital finance transformation
• Establish targets, program and project prioritization, and speed to benefit realization
• Provide oversight, and control of program portfolios established to manage finance improvement efforts
• Partner with business leads and sponsors to determine appropriate ways to navigate complex issues and change management agendas that Finance can help shape
• Partner with Finance Business Systems to help better leverage or implement digital technologies to improve operational effectiveness, compliance and reporting, incorporating digital enablers for end-to-end finance processes (such as procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, record-to-report, hire-to-retire) by assessing challenges/needs/gaps
• Diagnose root cause and recommend end-to-end solutions that use digital workflows and tools and harness the power of robotic process automation, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to reinvent and accelerate work
• Work with all digital finance transformation partners to ensure prioritization and execution of project plan aligns with the Company's goals
• Participate in process development and improvement discussions to help determine performance metrics
• Formulate a communication strategy to keep participants / users informed about the direction of the team’s transformation efforts
• Coordinate with the PMO to help with the management, tracking and communication status of workstream efforts, program risks/issues, and progress towards strategic goals
• Orchestrate the creation of comprehensive playbooks and procedures to ensure clear documentation for operational and control purposes
• Maintain an understanding of advancements in technology and innovations that are
  happening across digital, analytics, the CFO ecosystem, and broader marketplace
• Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality
• Be a change ambassador across the Global Finance network, infusing learning, creating forum to share best practices and develop skills in change management
• Provide ad-hoc strategic, analytical and presentation support for a variety of executive audiences

Examples of desirable skills, knowledge and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 8+ years experience working in Finance organizations or advising on Finance transformation, process improvements, financial planning redesign, service delivery model design and implementation, and other essential elements of the Finance team
• Proven ability to work with diverse stakeholders, manage competing agendas and priorities, and translate complex information across functions
• Experience with Finance operating models and supporting organization structures; In- depth knowledge of finance process leading practices
• Understanding of finance and ERP technologies; Alteryx and Robotic Process
• Automation subject matter expertise is a bonus!
• Experience with requirements gathering, design and implementation of financial systems
• Experience in continuous improvement programs, root cause analysis, and project management
• Outstanding integrity, initiative, creativity, and passion
• Record of career progression with increasing levels of responsibility

Compensation

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.

• For Colorado-based hires: Estimated annual salary of  $127,000 - $155,000.
• For New York City-based and California (excluding Bay Area) and Washington hires: Estimated annual salary of $148,000 - $180,000.
• For Bay Area-based hires: Estimated annual salary of $156,000 - $190,000.
