Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage, and lead the Distribution Quality Assurance support team, ensuring strategic and operational alignment across US, Europe, and APAC regions.
- Develop and implement strategic and operational objectives that align with ResMed’s organizational mission. Achieve these goals through strong business partnerships with key stakeholders including senior executive leaders, effective direction and management of own team resources, and leveraging support networks outside the direct team as needed.
- Build strong relationships with other functions across the broader business to stay informed and provide/request support as needed.
- Partner with Distribution Executive leadership team to influence the strategic direction and helping to align quality initiatives to enable the overall business strategy.
- Create and sustain a culture of Quality that aligns with ResMed’s values, ensuring that quality standards are upheld across the organization.
- Support the implementation of NCP, CAPA, and global on-hold processes, managing related actions across global operations distribution centers.
- Establish and ensure quality metrics are aligned with ResMed’s objectives and comply with best industry standards and practices.
- Optimize team structure and resources to achieve optimal outcomes for ResMed’s quality, delivery, and cost targets. Develop a self-empowered global team with strong leaders and team members who collaborate seamlessly.
- Ensure the implementation of various management systems (including health & safety, quality, and environmental) within the area of responsibility, and monitor the performance of direct reports against these requirements.
- Provide technical leadership, support, and guidance to the team, upholding relevant technical and quality standards through review activities.
- Proactively drive better data analytics to support organizational needs for early insights on data signals that affect quality and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications, Experience and other requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics/Engineering or other related discipline
- At least 5 years proven experience in a senior leadership role, with 10 years’ experience within distribution operations.
- 5 years’ experience working in a Quality role, or a role with a significant focus on delivering quality
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and standards (e.g. ISO9001, ISO13485, 21 CFR 820, MDSAP), and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent strategic planning and operational execution abilities.
- Effective networking and collaboration skills, in particular with a focus on partnering with senior executive leaders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Requires the ability to change the thinking of, or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations, without damage to the relationship.
- Manages professional employees and exercises full management authority, including performance reviews, pay decisions, recruitment, discipline, termination and other personnel actions.
- Travel up to 10%

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this position is: $145,000.00 - $217,000.00 USD Annual
