Responsibilities
  • The Scientist or Senior Scientist in this position will be expected in efforts to develop, optimize, and apply genomic assays to study cell coordination within tissues in the context of different diseases, aging and rejuvenation.
  • These may include approaches to for detailed interrogation of cellular state, on transcriptional, epigenetic, or proteomic level, spatially resolved assays, or approaches to trace cell history and lineage.
  • The efforts of the Scientist will be supported by computational and experimental teams both within and outside Altos.
  • The Scientist will be expected to lead experimental designs, author, and contribute to biological and methodological manuscripts, and contribute to seminars and other scientific initiations within Altos as well as a wider scientific community.
