Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems sector is currently seeking a Quality Analyst to support our growing business in our Rocket Center, West Virginia location.

Rocket Center, WV is located along the North Branch Potomac River in Mineral County, West Virginia and is home to the Allegany Ballistics Laboratory (ABL), a government installation operated by Northrop Grumman. Specific responsibilities include the following:
- Collect, analyze, and report data to assist quality engineer and management in assessing measures of performance.
- Evaluate quality data collection systems and processes to determine whether these data collection processes adequately depict the quality of products and processes involving suppliers, manufacturing test and life cycle management.
- Support projects and processes that ensure continuously improving value to our customers and market segments.
- Create organizational value by implementing innovative solutions and best practices involved in all processes of the product realization value stream.
- Assist Quality Engineers with inspection definitions and supplier requirements.
- Observe and identify improvement opportunities to Mission Assurance Engineering for discrepancy items and reporting.
- Verify process control activities and reports deficiencies as appropriate.
- Initiate quality alerts for potential process and product discrepancies that may affect performance.
- Assist Mission Assurance Engineers with root cause analysis investigations and corrective action development.
- Support Mission Assurance Engineers in conducting Corrective Action Review Board activities.
- Investigate internal audit-related findings and helps coordinate activities to resolve issues.
- Ensure team tasking with quality management and support staff to develop solutions to help manage variability.
- Support the administration of the Quality Management System Documentation and Record Control processes.
- Prepare and present data in management-level presentations.
- Support, communicate, re-enforce, and defend the mission, values, and culture of the organization.

Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to deal with problems involving inputs and variables throughout the processes.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret written procedures.
- Ability to apply basic problem-solving skills

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and areas of focus.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from area managers, vendors, and customers.
- General knowledge of quality management system
- Level 1 - Must have 4 years of relevant experience. Will consider a bachelors degree with 0 years of experience.
- Level 2 - Must have 7 years of relevant experience. Will consider a bachelors degree with 3 years of experience or a masters degree with 1 year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth knowledge of market segments.
- Knowledge of AS9100
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Salary Range: $51,400.00 - $77,200.00Salary Range 2: $62,200.00 - $93,400.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
