Requirements
  • 3+ years Experience in procurement, supply chain, or AP operational support roles
  • 3+ years Experience with leading eProcurement platforms with an emphasis on upstream and enablement
  • Broad knowledge of procurement, sourcing, category management and vendor management
  • Ability to manage functional issues and work with IT team to troubleshoot integration issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
Responsibilities
  • Daily procurement operational administrative system tasks for sourcing and contracting
  • Enabling the system through content creation (e.g. catalogs); identifying and working with suppliers that can provide the content
  • Providing support to the business for procurement system related matters, maintain effective communication & interface with the organization as needed
  • Maintaining a high-level knowledge of all procurement, supplier, contract management and sourcing solution suites
  • Assist in monitoring Procure 2 Pay (P2P) systems compliance and assist with process documentation
  • Assisting with future Procure 2 Pay (P2P) systems rollouts and improvement projects for previous rollouts
  • Sourcing Operational Administration including but not limited to: Template creation and maintenance
  • Workspace review and support
  • Maintenance of fact sheets
  • Supplier onboarding activities as defined
  • Contracting Operational Administration including, but not limited to: Contract migration from old systems to new
  • Workspace set up and maintenance
  • Template management
  • Enablement
  • Identify and work with suppliers to enable invoicing through system
  • Identify catalogs and punchouts, that can be put into place and work with suppliers and procurement to test and enable
  • Manage existing catalogs
  • Other Support
  • Support queries from the business
  • Provide training as needed when modules are rolled out to the business or if there are changes to existing processes/content
  • Reporting for KPIs and SLAs from the system
  • General change management support
  • UAT support
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP and middleware integration support

Owens & Minor names Darby Thompson VP of Strategic Business Development. April 7, 2026- Darby Thompson is joining Owens & Minor as Vice President (VP), Strategic Business Development and will report to Dean Huibregtse, Senior Vice President (SVP) Strategic Business Development. After working in various Commercial Account roles at Owens & Minor in the early 2000s, Darby went on to lead business development strategies in the industry and most recently served as the Director of Health System Strategy at Hanger Clinic. He is bringing his over 25 years of healthcare experience and a proven track record in business development with IDNs and GPOs to Owens & Minor.

Owens & Minor has appointed Dirk Benson as Chief Commercial Officer, effective immediately. Benson will oversee enterprise-wide commercial strategy and manage the company's US sales organisation, operations and customer service teams. Benson brings over 30 years of healthcare industry experience, most recently serving as president of US Distribution Business for Henry Schein. He previously spent 27 years at Medline Industries in senior leadership positions.
