Responsibilities
  • Analyze business requirements, identify collaboration needs, and develop a comprehensive collaboration strategy including tool selection, integration, and deployment plans.
  • Design and document the technical architecture for collaboration solutions, considering user experience, scalability, security, and integration with existing systems.
  • Research and evaluate various collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Exchange & SharePoint and Cisco Jabber) to identify the most suitable options for the organization's needs.
  • Oversee the implementation of collaboration tools, ensuring proper configuration, user training, and change management processes.
  • Integrate collaboration tools with other enterprise systems like CRM, ERP, and HR platforms to streamline workflows and data sharing.
  • Design and optimize the user experience within collaboration platforms to enhance adoption and productivity.
  • Ensure collaboration solutions adhere to data privacy and security regulations, implementing appropriate access controls and encryption measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, business units, project managers) to gather requirements, manage expectations, and communicate progress.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Active Directory architecture, including forest topology, domain structure, organizational units (OUs), and site links to optimize performance and security.
  • Plan and implement migration strategies for new AD deployments or upgrades to newer versions of Active Directory.
  • Evaluate and recommend new AD features and technologies to enhance functionality and address evolving business needs.
  • Configure and manage Active Directory services like Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Global Catalog to enforce security policies and user access controls.
  • Implement user and computer account management processes, including provisioning, deprovisioning, and lifecycle management.
  • Monitor AD performance, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot replication issues.
  • Enforce security best practices within the AD environment, including password complexity, account lockout policies, and privileged access management.
  • Integrate AD with other security solutions like multi-factor authentication (MFA) and identity management systems.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies regarding user access and data protection.
  • Collaborate with network engineers, application developers, and other IT teams to integrate AD with various systems and applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to troubleshoot AD related issues and provide user training on AD features.
  • Document AD architecture, procedures, and best practices for knowledge transfer and maintenance.
Desired Qualifications
  • Active US DOD Security Clearance
  • Familiarity with United States Government regulatory controls and frameworks (NIST, JSIG, RMF, DFARS, CMMC, etc.)
  • Work experience in an Air-Gapped environment is a plus
  • Strong understanding of collaboration technologies, including Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SharePoint and Cisco Jabber.
  • Ability to align technology solutions with business objectives and user needs, understanding business processes and workflows.
  • Expertise in designing scalable, secure, and integrated collaboration systems.
