  • Experience working in the London Market Insurance sector, exposure to the Delegated Authority preferable
  • Significant experience of working in project management and driving business outcomes
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong capability in project financial management

  • Experienced in rigorous planning and delivering in tight timescales and constraints
  • Knowledge & experience in vendor contract negotiation and management

  • Solid understanding of MS applications and project management tools, for the planning, tracking and manipulation of project plans, data and MI
  • Prince 2 or equivalent Project Management certification
Responsibilities
  • You’ll be responsible for leading significant business and technical projects that align with international strategic goals.
  • This includes defining and driving business benefits within specified time frames, cost, quality, and risk, as well as managing, reporting, and communicating progress.
  • You’ll engage with the business from the start to the closure of projects, ensuring benefits are realised and that quality and technical standards are met.
  • Your duties will involve building and recommending project and program proposals in collaboration with stakeholders, determining approaches, resource requirements, and limitations.
  • You’ll lead the development of business cases for projects and programs, track their progress, and plan and monitor the program and interrelated projects.
  • This includes creating stage and exception plans, mobilising and motivating project teams, managing third-party deliverables and targets, and reporting on project and program risks while developing contingency plans.
  • You’ll also be responsible for monitoring overall progress, resources, and budgets, initiating corrective actions when necessary, and maintaining project and program governance, change control, and configuration management.
  • You’ll work with IT stakeholders to ensure projects meet technical standards and ensure a smooth transition to business as usual, with benefits being owned and measured.
