Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing
  • Registered Nurse license (RN) issued by applicable state licensing authority (Illinois IDFPR, Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Oklahoma Board of Nursing, Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services) or a Compact State RN license, or eligibility
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider certification from American Heart Association (AHA) for the relevant state
  • No experience required
  • Ability to travel between multiple clinic sites including East, West, and Sun Prairie locations; willingness to travel as schedule requires
Responsibilities
  • Implements and monitors patient care plans and communicates patient condition as appropriate
  • Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders
  • Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
  • May round with physician in an inpatient setting
  • Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice to ensure patient age-specific and clinical needs are met
  • Demonstrates professional nursing standards defined in the professional practice model and uses the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics as guidance
  • Maintains safety and alertness in performance of duties
  • Performs other duties as assigned
