Technical Business Analyst

We’re looking for someone like you to propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.  

As an IT business analyst, you’ll develop leading-edge systems and products. Partnering with your team of strategists, analysts, and IT experts, you’ll engage the client’s stakeholders such as the client’s business and external business community, on behalf of the IT team to understand needs and develop a product roadmap for the client. You’ll understand the overall direction and nuanced user needs clearly, and you’ll lead your team as they fulfill these needs by designing and documenting the future direction of this complex program. Together, you’ll deliver high business value products to our clients.

You Have: 

• 5+ years of experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-phased digital enterprise solutions through a focus on process analysis, data transformation, and pragmatic change management
• Experience providing strategic guidance to a corporate development team focused on leveraging existing IT consulting service offerings to build a new commercial business unit
• Knowledge of digital strategy, IT project management, enterprise architecture, SDLC, or transformation
• Ability to lead the coordination of requirements meetings or conduct requirements workshops and sessions with business and IT stakeholders
• IRS Suitability
• Bachelor’s degree

Nice If You Have: 

• Experience with the business development life cycle, including leading or providing significant support to proposal or marketing efforts
• Experience supporting the development of enterprise-level IT strategies
• Knowledge of emerging technologies
• Ability to translate technical requirements into a compelling business vision
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting technical deliverables, analysis, and recommendations to non-technical or C-level audiences

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
