Carry out and ensure all production line support operations on your scheduled shift are conducted in a timely manner and with the required degree of quality - with a focus on laboratory equipment maintenance and first tier software and hardware support

Manage team schedules to guarantee sufficient staffing

Communicate status of production line equipment and other pertinent information to Clinical Production Laboratory team

Aid in the transfer of new technologies or changes to existing technologies into the production line

Drive continuous process improvement programs for asset management as measured with production line metrics (up time, down time, utilization, etc.)

Foster a culture of safety by following and holding all team members accountable to all internal and external safety regulations and procedures at all times

Hire, coach, and mentor to excellence and grow their hard and soft skills to allow for advancement into new opportunities

Maintain and communicate key team performance indicators/dashboards for continuous improvement.

Leading your team of 10+ Production Support Engineers
- Ensure Quality Assurance and Quality Control Programs are followed for support activities on your shift

Aid in troubleshooting and resolution of incident reports and CAPAs

Ensure your team is trained and competent to conduct the tasks required of them, and follow Standard Operating Procedures always

Troubleshooting skills, solutions oriented mentality, continuous improvement approach, quality mindset, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills with an eye for quality and operational excellence in high throughput and regulated production environment

Demonstrated ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and external collaborators

Well-versed in industry standard laboratory equipment hardware and software used in high throughput molecular biology laboratories, including but not limited to custom integrated workcells, liquid handling (Hamilton STAR/STARlet/Vantage, Agilent Bravo, Dynamic Devices Lynx), scheduling software (Overlord, GBG), and ancillary equipment (centrifuges, cold storage, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life science or related studies preferred

Experience in an ISO 13485/15189, GMP, GLP and or CAP/CLIA environment

3+ years of leadership experience in a highly sophisticated molecular lab setting

Outstanding interpersonal skills with ability to work inclusively and collaboratively with a diverse population

Team oriented, creative, eager to take on responsibility
This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. California Pay Range
$114,800—$143,400 USD
