Diary Editor
Location: Mail on Sunday Headquarters – London
Position: Permanent
The Mail on Sunday is seeking a dynamic and experienced new Diary Editor.
The successful candidate will have top-notch editing skills, an eye for a story and an enthusiasm for attending evening events and showbiz parties.
They will have an interest in society stories, Royals and glamorous showbiz names.
Main Responsibilities:
- Bring in exclusive stories for the column
- Make and maintain great contacts
- Commission, edit and write crisp copy
- Source and attend events
Applicants will ideally have:
- NCTJ or similar qualification
- At least three years’ journalism experience
- The ability to turn around quick, accurate copy
- The ability to quickly strike up a rapport with people, in person and on the phone
- A sharp eye for a story

The Diary pages deliver exclusive stories every week with eye-catching pictures to accompany them. The team has its finger on the pulse of the society scene and brings in stories from the movers and shakers making waves at events in London and beyond.
