Requirements
  • 5-8 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in a risk management, product management, or strategy role
  • Experience in executing strategic projects for a large organization
  • Ability to learn processes quickly and demonstrated accountability for delivery of outcomes
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on collaboration, and the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders
  • Self-starter who is proactive, detail-oriented, and not afraid to speak up
  • Solid organizational skills
  • Naturally curious, interested in diving deep to learn how things work to help connect dots and provide practical solutions
  • Bachelor's/University degree
Responsibilities
  • Support execution of key risk appetite processes including development of risk appetite statements. Drive process enablers such as updates to procedures, controls, technology to completion.
  • Work closely and constantly with Enterprise Risk Management teams, 1LOD and 2LOD risk category and business teams to collaborate and achieve outcomes
  • Lead broader control initiatives (e.g., Managers Control Assessment) and other cross-pillar risk appetite-related projects
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, or better connect risk appetite processes with other ERM initiatives and develop a proposal for execution
  • Develop a strong understanding of Enterprise Risk Management and work on ad-hoc strategic projects for senior management.
  • Partner with internal teams to project manage, and/or support on-time delivery of requirements, administration, and closure of issues and corrective actions
