  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience required
  • Master's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Management Information Systems preferred
  • 12+ years of work experience, minimum five years of professional services consulting experience required
  • Minimum six years of work experience within the Energy & Utilities industry supporting large utility modernization initiatives
  • Expertise in Utility organizations (Grid Mod, IT, Distribution Operations, Distribution Engineering, DER Programs)
  • Expertise in Information and operating technology (IT/OT) systems (e.g., AMI, ADMS, DERMS, FAN, DA)
  • Significant experience managing a team of professional services consultants in a project environment
  • Mature project management and consulting skills; writing and presentation of business solutions
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 40% of the year annually

Responsibilities
  • Establish and/or lead a program management office (PMO) for utility clients undertaking complex, transformational programs
  • Acts as the Project Manager in developing project plans, milestones, estimates, and structure on large engagements
  • Lead and facilitate cross-functional stakeholder workshops with client personnel for various large utility transformational program needs (e.g., business case development, requirements development, business process engineering, key performance criteria and measurement)
  • Accountable for the successful delivery and overall client satisfaction for high visibility strategy and/or implementation consulting projects at large utilities including managing the West Monroe consulting team and client relationships
  • Manage and/or participate in a team of software/solution implementation, systems integration, and business consultants
