Requirements
  • An associate degree or higher is required.
  • One to three years of experience in higher education career services, the placement industry, or Student Affairs is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Experience with goal setting or quotas to meet designated outcomes.
  • Interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of or relationships with community and local employment opportunities.
  • Advanced critical-thinking skills for training and career guidance.
  • Availability for evening and possibly some weekend work.
  • Ability to use computers and computer systems, including hardware and software, to process transactions, store documents, enter data, or perform assigned tasks.
  • Ability to safely ambulate and maneuver when on-site at company locations.
  • Ability to use active listening, inductive reasoning, information ordering, and category flexibility.
  • Ability to use good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information with discretion.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where deadlines are essential and multiple projects are handled simultaneously.
  • Ability to gain, understand, and apply information and data related to the essential functions of the position.
  • Ability to foster long-term relationships with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed assigned placement accreditation benchmarks.
  • Build and maintain relationships with students, graduates, and alumni to ensure continuity of contact, understanding of skills and needs, and effective job matching.
  • Maintain documentation in CampusNexus and Graduate Employment files in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Deliver and facilitate professional development workshops through Pathway to Placement and other community resources.
  • Build and maintain employer relationships to support continuity and successful Concorde graduate placement.
  • Manage the student interview process, including timely and professional follow-up and coordination.
  • Assist in planning and participate in campus activities such as graduation ceremonies, job fairs, PAC meetings, and Student Appreciation events.
