Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience working in relevant roles, overseeing and working on process improvement initiatives
Responsibilities
  • Lead innovation in Finance; Identify, assess, and lead various process improvement initiatives with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Develop a Finance Operations transformation roadmap based on continuous improvement principles that will serve as strategy for Finance Operations
  • Define the technology stack and technology roadmap for Finance and other Business Units; Keep up to date with technology trends in the O2C, P2P and R2R processes to enable finance to achieve process efficiency and standardization; identify the best tools for our stage, lead vendor assessment and selection process
  • Lead the identification of automation opportunities leveraging AI and RPA across processes and the implementation of automation initiatives
  • Lead the process to create one integrated data lake to enable cross-functional insights and analytics
  • Develop concise business cases for transformation initiatives tied to the needs of the Finance organization, manage Finance innovation budget and calculate ROI of initiatives using process analytics to identify productivity improvements
  • Build workplans and communicate project progress, including project plans, risk identification and mitigation strategies, and milestone management
  • Measure effectiveness of change initiatives and evolve plans as needed to improve ROI, best drive adoption and reduce risk of initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and implement project plans
  • Engage, inspire, and motivate people to embrace changes that are required to drive the business forward
  • Research and represent thought leadership and advise senior Finance leaders on best practices in the finance process re-engineering, including: Lean / Six Sigma to drive continuous process improvement, process maps, implementing process standards, automation technologies
  • Develop finance transformation strategy and develop the right organization structure and culture to drive continuous improvement and business process re-engineering
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business; MBA is a
  • Broad-based finance and process improvement experience; the ideal candidate will have served in a variety of finance operations, finance transformation, process re-engineering, and/or related roles
  • Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically
  • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting concepts
  • Strong communication skills, writing and presentation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make connections across workstreams
  • Excellent project management skills with demonstrated experience successfully managing a cross-functional or cross-departmental team on a complex project
  • Executive presence with the ability to communicate and work with individuals at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a self-motivated manner but within a collaborative team environment
  • Experience managing staff on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
  • Ability to effectively prioritize problems and manage multiple requests/expectations
