About the role
When product marketing is clicking, the features a company builds and the stories it tells work in harmony. You craft a unified customer experience that attracts, delights, and makes a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Product marketing at Tome sits at the intersection of product development and go-to-market. We’re looking for someone who can’t wait to get into the guts of a PRD, then writes a haiku to explain it.
You’ll be successful by finding ways to make Tome users successful: driving the “wow, cool!” moments that give people the motivation to master a new tool.
What you’ll do
Lead research projects that deliver the data and user insights needed to make great decisions.
Segment Tome’s customers and their journeys through the product, working with Growth product and marketing to ensure that people experience the magic of Tome quickly.
Build compelling sales and marketing materials that help prospective buyers see the value of Tome for their revenue teams.

Who you are
A seasoned product marketing leader with 7+ years of work experience in the field. B2B marketing experience with a PLG motion is strongly preferred.
A deep and empathetic cross-functional collaborator who can think through tradeoffs and get to the right decision with conflicting information.
A “yes, and” creative mind who can build on ideas and find new ways to grab and hold attention.
You love media, storytelling, startup energy, and working on things that feel totally new.
