What believers are saying

  • Kardigan says Prolaio speeds 2026 readouts across three late-stage cardiovascular programs.
  • The platform collects daily physiologic data from wearable sensors and clinic records.
  • Management says Prolaio improves trial efficiency and raises clinical success probability.

What critics are saying

  • Prolaio lost independence in 2025, so roles depend on Kardigan’s strategy.
  • Kardigan reported no revenue through March 31, 2026, funding everything from investors.
  • If Kardigan’s trials fail, Prolaio becomes a sunk cost with limited standalone demand.

What makes Prolaio unique

  • Prolaio combines FDA-cleared monitoring with cardiovascular analytics and real-world data.
  • Kardigan acquired Prolaio in February 2025, keeping the platform inside a therapeutics company.
  • Its platform supports smaller, faster cardiovascular trials using continuous remote monitoring.
