Requirements
  • Five (5) or more years of experience supporting Medicare claims and/or appeals programs, including pre- and post-adjudication processes.
  • Ten (10) or more years of overall experience in business analysis, including requirements facilitation, storyboarding, functional specification development, and use case diagramming.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting Medicare claims operations, including claims intake, adjudication, or downstream workflows.
  • Experience with Agile methodology.
  • Experience facilitating requirements sessions with business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to clearly define and articulate requirements to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience performing business case development and detailed requirements analysis.
  • Experience developing use cases, user stories, and functional documentation.
  • Ability to read and understand functional and technical architecture design documents and analyze test requirements.
  • Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in testing Java, .NET, web, SOA, and ETL-based applications.
  • Some level of Java development experience.
  • Experience with multiple SDLC models, including Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile models.
  • Strong skills in SQL, Oracle, and Microsoft Access.
  • Intermediate understanding and experience with Unix and Windows.
  • Expertise with Jira, VersionOne, or a comparable requirements tool.
  • Experience working with and understanding user stories.
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, test procedures, test designs, defect records, requirements traceability, and test execution.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.
  • Ability to pass a Moderate Background Investigation (MBI).
Responsibilities
  • Develop functional testing scenarios and detailed functional test cases.
  • Manage project deadlines, time, and schedule in a fast-paced federal environment.
  • Review and generate complex test plans, generate test case data, and build procedures and testing scripts based on functional specifications.
  • Execute test cases, coordinate and execute tests, log and validate defects, debug, and document results.
  • Maintain DSTRs.
  • Define the level of effort required to build test cases.
  • Assist the test lead or manager in defining and refining functional testing approaches, tools, automation, and documentation.
  • Interact with federal and contractor functional leads to clarify requirements and scenarios.
  • Assist federal and contractor resources in conducting User Acceptance Testing.
  • Respond to developers' questions regarding test results, bugs, and defects.
  • Communicate with customers and team members, facilitate discussions, and exercise professional judgment as required.

  • Experience with Momentum functional and technical systems testing.
  • Experience supporting audits, compliance initiatives, or regulatory reporting.
  • Experience with large, complex Momentum implementations, including functional and technical application knowledge.
