As a Business Process Manager, you will play a key role in leading business process change management initiatives and providing business process management expertise in support of Fidelity Canada strategic goals.
You will lead change management projects, provide comprehensive support to business led activities on Fidelity Canada projects, and enhance organization’s capabilities to address operational inefficiencies and find opportunities for improvement.

Business Process Management
Lead discovery work for business initiatives and facilitate problem solving workshops among cross-functional working groups and stakeholders.
Analyze complex business issues, identify pain points, and communicate issues in a logical thought sequence to stakeholders.
Identify process risks and collaboratively, along with other stakeholders, design solutions to minimize the impact of such risks.
Business Process Design that provides value added solutions to business groups aligning with risk, regulatory and compliance requirements.
Develop End-to-End process and value stream mapping to capture current state and future state process design.
Assignment & Initiative Management
Lead business change management assignment to successful completion including engaging and supporting business stakeholders to achieve desired outcome of improved operational processes, reduced risk, and enhanced client experience.
Through assignments on cross-functional projects’ teams, BPM will be accountable for preparing or coordinating documentation of changes in business processes (process flow-charts in current and post state), post-implementation operating procedures, and target operating models.
Support development of process documentation, procedures, technical requirements, and end-user materials for change initiatives.
BPM will also provide necessary support to Learning & Development team in creation and delivery of training material as they relate to changed business processes.
Prepare effective communication and presentations for stakeholder groups and senior management.
Collaboration & Innovation
Develop and maintain a strong alliance with the Fidelity Canada Risk team to ensure a strong focus on risk reduction is an integral aspect of our program.
Identify process risks and collaboratively, along with other stakeholders, design solutions to minimize the impact of such risks.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with business partners across Fidelity Canada to ensure operational excellence program is responsive to business needs and enhances client experience.
Collaborate with technology implementation partners to propose and implement digitalization and automation solutions that align with the organization’s goal of creating a digitally enabled workplace.
Collaborates with business partners to understand their process management needs and promotes BPM techniques that can support their automation and operational efficiency efforts.
Collaborates with technology teams to ensure alignment with IT tools and processes, and adoption of advanced technologies.
What We Are Looking For
College degree/Post-secondary education in the areas of IT, Business or related field are preferred or equivalent experience.
Business Process Analysis/Management education and/or related work experience.
A minimum of 3 years work experience in the roles related to Business Project Management, Business Process Management, or Business Architecture.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the financial industry.
BPM certifications (in place or in progress) would be considered an asset.
