  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ years’ cash handling experience.
  • Prior banking/credit union experience preferred.
  • Excellent mathematical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent written, listening and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to operate 10-key series.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Must have the ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to a consistently changing environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft computer applications.
Responsibilities
  • Greet members in a professional and courteous manner and assist them with all issues, questions and requests.
  • Process member transactions, including; deposits, withdrawals, cashiers’ checks, money orders, and loan payments in person, by telephone or mail.
  • Balance and verifies transactions and cash totals on a daily basis.
  • Maintains a thorough working knowledge of the complete line of products and services and offers appropriate products and services to members and potential members.
  • Opens and closes computer terminal accounts daily.
  • Examines documents for endorsement and negotiability.
  • Detects and resolves discrepancies promptly.
  • Performs drive-up teller and night drop functions as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
