We are looking for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing commercial team. This role is a great opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for building relationships, who is eager to develop a career in business development and account management.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Outreach: Identify, research, and engage potential clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and events.
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound and outbound leads, understanding client needs and determining fit for Quick Release services.
- Pipeline Development: Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline in CRM, ensuring accurate reporting and follow-ups.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Account Managers and Business Managers to schedule discovery meetings, demos, and presentations.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes to identify new opportunities.
- Brand Representation: Represent Quick Release professionally at events, trade shows, and client meetings.
- Performance Goals: Achieve and exceed activity-based KPIs (calls, meetings booked, qualified leads) and contribute to revenue growth targets.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3-5 years of sales or business development experience (B2B preferred; internships/placements welcome).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset with a "hunter" mentality.
- Comfortable with outreach activities (phone, email, LinkedIn).
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in the automotive, engineering, or technology sectors is a plus.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) desirable.
Salary Range: $70,000-90,000 with a bonus
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
