Senior Financial Planner

Description

The Senior Financial Planner is responsible for delivering personalized financial planning and exceptional client service to help clients achieve their long-term financial goals. This role partners closely with clients, advisors, and internal teams to develop customized financial plans, manage ongoing relationships, and provide a high-touch, consultative experience. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping clients navigate complex financial decisions. 

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare for and lead client meetings
• Gather, organize, and analyze client financial information
• Develop customized financial plans, insurance illustrations, and financial scenarios
• Communicate investment recommendations in collaboration with advisory teams
• Track planning milestones and follow up on action items
• Deliver proactive client service and ongoing relationship management
• Manage client onboarding and support ongoing service needs
• Maintain accurate records in CRM and financial planning systems
• Respond to client inquiries and provide trusted financial guidance
• Cultivate client relationships through thoughtful engagement and referral development

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of financial planning or related experience
• Series 7 and Series 66 licenses required
• CFP designation preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience within the financial services and insurance industry preferred
• Familiarity with CRM and financial planning software (Salesforce, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, or similar)
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Professional, proactive, and adaptable approach to client service
