  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and sales experience required.
  • Three (3) years' experience in auto finance with sub-prime auto financing experience preferred
  • Three (3) years' experience in sales with auto industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of the local market with established customer relationships preferred
  • Intrinsically motivated with demonstrated ability to take initiative, identify needs, make recommendations for improvement, see recommendations through implementation, and evaluate improvements for effectiveness
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, friendly and tactful with the ability to influence others, effectively manage conflict, exercise sound judgment, manage highly sensitive and confidential information, interact at all levels within the organization, and build cross-functional partnerships

  • Must possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Extensive travel both in a vehicle and by air; travel is to be expected 75% of the time, with overnight travel and extended hours
  • Educate dealers on all aspects of the company lending program(s) and how to maximize the value of the program(s) for their individual dealership
  • Partner with other operational teams to capture quality business from existing dealers and increase utilization of the program(s)
  • Build and expand the assigned territory by identifying and signing new dealerships
  • Make regular dealer visits, cold calls, and take inbound calls from dealerships to build relationships and capture business
  • Maintain high-quality customer satisfaction and retention of dealers
  • Complete and submit documentation to track and assess established goals
  • Foster a collaborative culture that facilitates the achievement of business plan objectives by working closely with other associates and members of management
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
