Requirements
  • Completion of a Ph.D. from an AACSB-accredited business school with a record of scholarly and professional achievement in the areas of finance; the applicant must have an earned doctorate before the start date.
  • Ability to undertake quality research leading to publications in recognized academic journals; collaborate on research projects; attract external research grants.
  • Demonstrated excellence and innovation in quality teaching; appropriate teaching experience at the college level.
Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in finance and international business (specifically finance and related areas); advise and mentor students; drive an innovative curriculum.
  • Engage in quality research leading to publications in recognized academic journals; collaborate on research projects; attract external research grants.
  • Serve on faculty committees and contribute to service activities; participate in departmental governance; participate in curriculum development and program assessment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preference will be given to candidates who are qualified as Scholarly Academic based on faculty qualification standards and AACSB accreditation standards and who have discipline-related work experience.
  • Demonstrated interest in researching and teaching in various areas of finance and real estate.
  • Evidence of ability to publish in high-quality journals and to attract external research grants.
