Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Configuration Manager or in a similar role, preferably within a research or governmental organization.
  • Strong knowledge of configuration management principles, practices, and tools.
  • Proficiency in using Azure DevOps for configuration management, CI/CD pipelines, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Scrum Agile development methodology

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive configuration management plan.
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository for storing configuration items.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps to track, manage, and automate changes to hardware, software, and documentation.
  • Implement a rigorous change control process to evaluate, approve, and implement modifications.
  • Monitor and audit configurations continuously to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate detailed reports and analytics to provide insights into configuration trends and identify potential issues.
  • Provide training and support to staff on configuration management best practices and effective use of Azure DevOps.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Desired Qualifications
  • Certification in Configuration Management (e.g., ITIL, PMP, or similar).
  • Experience with other configuration management tools and technologies.
