THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re looking for a Principal to join our Equity investment team. In this role, you’ll drive deal origination, manage and execute venture capital transactions, and provide strategic support to our portfolio. This is a pivotal role, ideal for a candidate who excels in managing process and workflow, establishing best practices in analytical and investment frameworks, shaping strategy, serving as main point of contact for portfolio company founders and mentoring junior team members. We seek someone with a genuine passion for startups, venture capital, the gaming industry and driving team performance.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transaction Management: Lead all investment stages—from origination and evaluation through to execution. You’ll assess potential deals, create financial models, and collaborate with BITKRAFT partners on final decisions.
• Portfolio Oversight: Manage portfolio companies, including KPI tracking, financial reporting, strategy review, and identifying key support areas. You’ll also represent BITKRAFT on board roles as needed.
• Deal Origination & Networking: Cultivate relationships within the startup and venture capital community to identify new investment opportunities, partnerships for portfolio companies and represent BITKRAFT as a prominent industry ambassador.
• Market Insights & Research: Help set research, thesis and content development agenda. Develop expertise in key sectors, formulating data-driven investment theses to identify emerging opportunities.
• Equity Team Operations: Collaborate with senior leadership to mentor the investment team, delegate work effectively, and foster sound investment practices among junior associates, analysts, and interns. Work with senior leadership to set fund strategy, analytical frameworks and investment processes.
• Fundraising Support: Assist with BITKRAFT’s fundraising efforts for future funds.

YOU

• Experience & Education: Background in investing, finance, business, or related fields, with significant expertise in gaming and interactive entertainment sectors.
• Management Skills: Experienced in people management, setting and delegating tasks, as well as fostering professional team growth.
• Investment Savvy: Extensive experience in venture capital or startups, with strong financial modeling and research capabilities.
• Networked: Established relationships with founders, investors, and industry stakeholders.
• Analytical & Process-Oriented Mindset: Excellent quantitative, strategic, and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail. Structured thinking and execution-oriented approach to work.
• Effective Communicator: Strong interpersonal, persuasion and relationship-building abilities with clear and candid communication style.
• Professionalism, Stature & Reliability: Lead by example with excellence and reliability in delivery.

• Location: Major city in Europe preferred
• Language: Fluent English (spoken and written)
• Travel Requirement: Position requires travel
