Solenis considers 2025 IPO with banks

Solenis, a Delaware-based specialty chemicals producer, is engaging with investment banks for a potential IPO in 2025, according to five sources. While no formal bank syndicate has been established, discussions are expected to lead to a selection of banks by the end of 2024. Chemical sector IPOs have historically struggled, with examples like Evoqua Water Technologies and Shimmick facing significant stock declines post-IPO. Solenis is considered too large for acquisition, making an IPO the best option.
