TeleMed2U Appoints Laura Dettmann as Chief Revenue Officer to Scale Growth and Extend Impact

TeleMed2U appoints Laura Dettmann as Chief Revenue Officer to scale growth and extend impact. TeleMed2U ROSEVILLE, Calif-October 15, 2025-TeleMed2U, a leading tele-specialty care company focused on leveraging technology and end-to-end patient services to deliver high-quality affordable care, today announced the appointment of Laura Dettmann as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). Reporting directly to CEO AJ Patel, Dettmann will work closely with the executive team to refine TeleMed2U's specialty telemedicine growth roadmap. This includes supporting even more health plans as they move toward an integrated approach to chronic disease management with the goal of improving health outcomes and member experience through seamless specialty care coordination. Patients across the country are faced with long wait times to see a specialist - often eight to 12 months or even longer for a first appointment. For those living in a healthcare desert, the problem is doubly compounded by not only the distance but transportation to quality providers. Since launching in 2011, TeleMed2U has focused on building solutions that increase member access to specialty care regardless of their location, improving outcomes while reducing scheduling delays. Today this is accomplished at scale by combining technology with a growing network of over 500 providers spanning 20 specialties, including endocrinology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, infectious diseases, and behavioral health, to make critical health care connections - which might otherwise not have been possible - a reality. With this model, patients are evaluated, diagnosed, and managed longitudinally as part of a personalized treatment plan. And, when necessary, appropriate referrals can then be made to other providers allowing for a seamless care delivery experience. "The TeleMed2U executive team is thrilled to welcome Laura Dettmann as Chief Revenue Officer. She brings to the role deep industry acumen which will prove beneficial as she drives our sales function moving forward," said AJ Patel, CEO of TeleMed2U. "Having worked alongside health plans for over two decades, she is keenly aware of the challenges they face delivering a seamless patient/member experience, especially when multiple third parties and point solutions find their way into an already robust health plan ecosystem. We look forward to learning from her and leveraging this deep understanding of the market to elevate the reach and member impact of our specialty telemedicine offering." Dettmann comes to TeleMed2U from digital health company Sharecare where she served as the Vice President of Payor Sales and was responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive health plan market share acquisition. Additional business development experience includes growth roles at Softheon, Welldoc, and HealthSparq over the past decade. At TeleMed2U, Dettmann will draw from these career experiences to expand the company's footprint across the nation and extend how members use virtual care to connect to the high-quality specialty care they need and deserve. "Reaching, engaging, and managing members with one condition is hard, an issue that is further intensified when comorbidities are involved. As an industry, we must make care simple, convenient, and attainable, which starts with connecting members with the specialty care they need," said Dettmann. "I am thrilled to join such a passionate team focused on the core tenants that matter most - ensuring the best patient experience to reduce member abrasion, continuing to grow and scale our national network of specialty providers, and leveraging technology and AI to streamline workflow and operations." About TeleMed2U At TeleMed2U, TeleMed2U Inc. believe that time is the most valuable resource in healthcare - whether it is time to diagnosis, time to treatment, or time to better health. That is why, since its founding in 2011, TeleMed2U Inc. has been dedicated to increasing access to care across 20 medical and behavioral health specialties nationwide. By breaking down traditional barriers to specialty care, TeleMed2U has become a leading technology-enabled healthcare services company, delivering high-quality, convenient, and easy-to-access virtual healthcare solutions. Its integrated chronic disease management approach empowers patients and providers, improving health outcomes through seamless care coordination. With a focus on patient-centered innovation, provider collaboration, and data-driven care delivery, TeleMed2U is redefining specialty care, making it faster, simpler, and more accessible for all.
