Responsibilities
  • Directly support AXA XL underwriters / DAMs in Policy Administration.
  • Support issuance of policy documents for the insured.
  • In case of policy non-renewals, send out the conditional / non-renewal policy documents.
  • Issue endorsements in case of any mid-term changes during the policy period.
  • Generate policy numbers for the insured.
  • Renew or decline policies as per the instructions from the underwriters.

Reynolds will be responsible for developing, executing and managing the underwriting strategy for the UK & Lloyd's marine business as well as setting and overseeing the strategy for the global hull book of business. Reynolds has over 40 years London market experience in both underwriting and broking roles. He joins AXA XL from Lockton where he was partner, head of Marine for London and member of the Global Marine Executive. Prior to Lockton he was deputy head of Marine at Chubb. He has also held roles at ACE, The Navigators Group, Cigna and Commercial Union. "Michael is an experienced leader, with technical acumen and the strategic and operational skills to ensure thoughtful and profitable growth across our marine business. Hiscox recruits Jadav from Axa XL as UK CUO. Anish Jadav has been appointed UK chief underwriting officer at Hiscox, succeeding Ben Horton. Jadav joined in January from Axa XL, where he was CUO for its retail property and casualty business. Prior to this, he held several positions at Zurich, most recently CUO of Zurich Ireland.
