Your Impact
As Axon grows our global hybrid workforce, collaboration tools play an increasingly critical role in helping us work as a team. This Collaboration Engineer role will take ownership of our physical conference rooms, broadcast AV systems and related software tools to enable simple, reliable and impactful collaboration.
What You’ll Do
- Take ownership of all conferencing and collaboration systems at Axon
- Set and ensure a global standard for collaboration spaces across all Axon offices
- Lead production for internal facing events
- Upgrade and maintain our Pro AV systems for internal broadcast events
- Manage integrations across our collaboration tools including Zoom, Slack, Teams and various SaaS tool sets
- Identify new hardware and software tools to ensure that Axon remains at the cutting edge in collaboration capabilities
- Provide white glove support for high profile events
What You’ll Bring
- 3+ years of experience working as a Client Engineer or Pro AV technician
- Experience with the design and setup of Pro AV gear including video mixers, switching equipment and live sound
- Experience running AV production for events
- Track record of being a thought leader in the collaboration space
- Demonstrated understanding of core IT systems such as network, Azure Active Directory, Okta
- A passion for new technology, being hands-on and building
- Capability to operate in an ITIL environment including adherence to change controls
- Ability to work on site at our Scottsdale AZ headquarters as needed

The Pay: Axon is a total compensation company, meaning compensation is made up of base pay, bonus, and stock awards. The starting base pay for this role is between USD 65,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 115,000 in the highest geographic market. The on target earnings range for this role is between USD 75,000 in the lowest geographic market and USD 130,000 in the highest geographic market. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: level, function, training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, geographic market, and often a combination of all these factors.
